Isopillo Med - Natural Latex Flakes And Kapok Fibres - From Dormiente

Description

Filled with a combination of natural latx flakes (70%) and kapok plant fibres (30%), the 14cm depth Isopillo Med can be moulded to shape beneath the head and neck, is cooling in summer, but retains warmth in winter, and is a good choice for side, back or front sleepers.

The pure 100% natural latex flakes have a springy elasticity, giving a gentle bounce which helps with relaxation of the neck muscles.

Kapok fibres are made from the seed pods of kapok trees, which grow in tropical mixed forests where insecticides and pesticides are not used.

They are very light, with hollow fibres that are 80% air, and have cavities that trap warm air when it is cold, giving kapok excellent insulating properties. And these fibres are also water repellent.

With GOTS certified organic cotton outer covers in a jersey knitted fabric with a degree of stretchy elasticity that enhances the responsiveness of the pillow. And with pure cotton inner covers.

Product Tips

The depth of the pillow can easily be adjusted for individual preferences by increasing or reducing the volume of natural latex flakes and kapok fibre filling.

And the pillow can be loosely moulded into the preferred shape and profile of individual side, back and front sleepers.

But front sleepers need to reduce the volume of natural latex flakes and kapok fibre filling to lower the height of the pillow.

The Isopillo Med are sized to fit pillow cases of 40 x 60 or 40 x 80.

The outer covers are made from organic cottons with high purity to inhibit the growth of mould, and are machine washable to 60 degrees.

But when first washed, a temperature of no more than 40 degrees helps protect against the risk of any initial shrinkage.
