Adapted for those who like to be warm at night but perspire easily, these mattresses have 1000g/sm of pure horse hair beneath the quilted covers, which has anti-rheumatic properties, to help maintain a comfortable, even warmth within a dry sleeping environment.

These Isoform premium quality 18cm depth pure 100% natural latex mattresses have been designed for all discerning adults of average and higher body weight seeking superior comfort, but have more muted surface softness and responsiveness, because of the stiffening effect of the horse hair.

With less surface yield to absorb the shoulders and hips, which promotes good alignment of the spine, these mattresses are most suited to side, back and front sleepers who prefer to lie on firmer, more robust surfaces.

In addition to the horse hair, the Isoform has organic cotton or organic wool climate regulating fleecing stitched to the inside of their quilted organic cotton covers, which also absorbs moisture, enhancing the dry environment, and helps maintain an even, comfortable warmth.

The medium-firm Isoform has a medium grade natural latex core, giving robust and stable orthopaedic support and a somewhat muted degree of surface softness and responsiveness for side sleepers.

For either medium-soft or firm support, the Isoform is also available with either a soft or firm natural latex core.

The soft core increases the elasticity of the Isoform's orthopaedic support and has atouch more surface softness and responsiveness, whilst the firm core further restricts elasticity and has a less responsive and firmer surface.

Suitable For

Wool is one of the most effective and efficient climate regulating materials, whilst cotton releases heat at a lower temperature and creates a somewhat cooler sleeping environment.

Jersey knitted quilted covers have stretch and are less stiff and a little more flexible than those made from woven fabrics.

And here we have listed the Classic Isoform with jersey knitted quilted covers combined with 750g/m2 of organic wool fleecing, partly because the stretch of the jersey fabric provides a little more surface yield for side sleepers.

But, we can also supply the Classic Isoform with a drill woven quilted cover and 750g/m2 of organic wool fleecing or these drill covers can also be combined with 500g/m2 of organic cotton fleecing. Please let us know by e-mail if you would prefer a drill cover.

Product Tips

The Classic Isoform has the option of an additional outer cover, which can be removed and is machine washable to 60 degrees. The outer cover encloses an inner jersey knitted quilted cover and the climate regulating fleecing.

With this Climate Zone option, the inner quilted cover can be supplied with either 500g/m2 of organic wool or organic cotton fleecing.

There is an additional cost for the Climate Zone extra cover and this option needs to be added to your shopping cart.
