Prolana's hot water bottles are made from 100% natural India rubber (FSC) and have a snug organic Cotton plush (kbA) cover and safety stopper.

Suitable For

These hot water bottles are available in two sizes, with a larger 2 litre size for adults and a smaller 0.8 litre size children.

Product Tips

Please read this guidance from Prolana on the safe use of their hot water bottles :

Please do not fill with boiling water.

For adults, the water should be a maximum of 70 degrees Celsius.

And for babies and young children, the water should be a hand warm maximum of 40 degrees Celsius.

Please fill no more than two thirds of the hot water bottle with water.

Then press the sides together carefully so that the remaining air escapes.

Screw in the stopper and tighten it very securely.

Never place the hot water bottle in direct contact with hot objects or fats and oils.

Never heat the hot water bottle in a microwave.

When storing, keep the hot water bottle drained, dry and cool, and away from direct sunlight.

To be observed especially for babies and young children :

Do not use the hot water bottle without the outer plush cover.

Remember, a baby can’t push the hot water bottle away if it is too hot.

And a filled hot water bottle is heavy for a baby or young child and used directly on the skin may result in burns.

The hot water bottle for a baby or young child should only be filled with hand warm water to a maximum 40 degrees Celsius.
